Mike Bohn Must Take Action To Increase USC’s Basketball Attendance

The beginning of basketball practice is only two weeks away and after Saturday’s football implosion some Trojan fans are openly waiting for basketball season. You can skip the jokes about whether the Trojans have a basketball fan base. We all know that USC is a “football school”, whatever that means. One thing it doesn’t mean is that so-called football schools can’t also have basketball success and passionate basketball fans. Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State, Florida State, Florida, Oregon, Texas and Oklahoma are schools that have had periods of great success in both sports over the past few decades and packed arenas. Can USC become a major power in basketball? What has to happen for interest and attendance to increase?
