In Tuesday’s edition of “Inside the Trojans’ Huddle,” panelists Marc Kulkin, Erik McKinney, Chris Arledge, and Greg Katz provide commentary and perspective on the shocking resignation of former USC athletic director Mike Bohn, USC president Dr. Carol Folt’s accountability, AD candidates, Bohn and Bush, the UW challenge, and viewers’ questions and panel’s answers.

In the first half of the Huddle, the panel gives its thoughts and reactions – good, bad, and the ugly, concerning the immediate resignation of athletic director Mike Bohn. Should he have resigned? What would have happened if the damning of Bohn not appeared in the Los Angeles Times? How much responsibility rests with USC president Dr. Carol Folt?

The first half of the Huddle continues with the Bohn story and asks whether an earlier investigation of Mike Bohn by a private investigating attorney should now be made public. Then there is the question of how much the departure of Bohn affects USC’s transition into the Big Ten. Of course, all eyes will now focus on how the departure of Bohn could affect football, recruiting, and the USC image in general.

The first half of the Huddle concludes with potential candidates that each panelist thinks would be a worthy replacement of Bohn.

Halftime takes us to three topics: How much will the resignation of Mike Bohn affect Reggie Bush from getting back his Heisman Trophy and getting recognition of his jersey in the peristyle end of the Coliseum on game day? If USC could replace San Jose State as the first game of 2023, and the options were Ohio State, Michigan, Alabama, or Georgia, who would you want? The final halftime question asks if the panel could have any rock and roll band performing at halftime of a Trojans’ home game in the Coli, who would each panelist hire to play?

The second half of the Huddle turns to the discussion of just how big a threat is the Washington Huskies, whom some are picking to win the Pac-12 over the Trojans? Incorporating into that topic is the challenge of the Utah Utes, who also play in Los Angeles this season. The panel is then asked which of these two teams, UW or Utah, poses the biggest threat to Troy in the Coliseum? This segment then turns to the Pac-12 schedule, and the panel is asked to look at whom the Huskies and Utes play before they play the Trojans and who, UW or Utah, has the bigger advantage in coming to the Coliseum?

The second half continues with a Washington question that addresses the fact that Huskies will be USC’s Homecoming Game this season and will that have any effect, advantage or disadvantage, compared to playing Utah?

Continuing conference discussion, the panel is asked which Pac-12 quarterback – Utah’s Cam Rising, Washington’s Michael Penix Jr., or Oregon’s Bo Nix – will present the biggest challenge for the USC defense to defend?

In Overtime, panelists answer some viewers’ questions pertaining to the Mike Bohn resignation and possible replacements, football and basketball home games attendance predictions, and a question predicting this season’s USC’s offensive scoring average and average points allowed per game by the defense.
