The No. 7 USC Trojans (3-0, 1-0) hit the road this weekend for a Pac-12 showdown against the Oregon State Beavers (3-0). Check out The Huddle for all the names, news, notes and numbers you need to watch your Trojans take on the Beavers this Saturday night.

History at Reser Stadium

There have been some monumental upsets of great USC teams by Oregon State at Reser Stadium. The Beavers beat the No. 1 Trojans in 1967 and again in 2008. Oregon State ran off three-straight home wins against USC in 2006, 2008 and 2010. But USC has won the past two games at Reser, in 2013 and 2018.

Putting 2021 Behind Them

This USC team doesn’t resemble the 2021 version of the Trojans and Lincoln Riley’s squad hope the same is true of the outcome Saturday night. In 2021, Oregon State beat USC 45-27. It was the most points the Beavers ever scored against the Trojans and Oregon State’s first win in the Coliseum since 1960. Oregon State ran for 322 yards last season.

Common Opponent in 2022

USC and Oregon State both played Fresno State earlier this season. Both Pac-12 programs recorded wins over the Bulldogs, but in very different ways. The Trojans got out to a big lead and kept extending it, ultimately finishing off a 45-17 win. The Fresno State – Oregon State game featured three lead changes in the final 1:50. The Beavers scored a touchdown on a two-yard run with no time left to win the game.
