Top-10 IOL Jason Zandamela releases top-5, will take OV to USC
Clearwater (Fla.) Clearwater Academy International four-star interior offensive lineman Jason Zandamela announced his top five schools on Sunday night. They are USC, Miami, Florida State, Oklahoma, and Georgia.
Zandamela is the No. 129 overall prospect and No. 7 interior offensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 20 player in Florida.
On3 rates Zandamela higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 6 interior offensive lineman in the country and the No. 19 player in Florida.
Zandamela is set to OV USC
Zandamela has locked in the date he will be on that official visit and lucky for USC, he will tag along with an expected 10+ official visitors on the weekend of June 16. That weekend is expected to be the largest visit weekend of two in the month for the Trojans.
What Zandamela told On3 previously about USC
“Their culture and I’m a big fan of their current center,” Zandamela told On3’s Chad Simmons on March 5 about why he is interested in USC. “I watched his tape a lot because I almost revolve my game around how he plays it. I really like how coach (Josh) Henson coaches.”
More visits on the horizon
Zandamela spoke with On3’s new Oklahoma Sooner’s team site. This was their report.
“The talented blocker has already set up his return to Norman for a June 9 official visit, a trip that will be joined in the month by subsequent official visits to USC on June 16 and Florida State on June 23. Though it’s possible he takes a few more officials, it’s not something he is certain of at this point.”

The 6-foot-2.5, 260-pound recruit holds 33 total offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Florida State has a commanding lead for his commitment at 96.7%. USC is considered the runner up as of now with only a 1.9% chance.
