The 2024 On300 Rankings were updated Monday as spring camps and combines continue to shed light on this class of rising juniors. The update featured 43 new entrants into the On300 Rankings and a bit of a shakeup in the top 100. But a familiar name remains at the very top of the list in Ohio State quarterback commit Dylan Raiola. Here’s a look at where USC 2024 commitments and some of the top Trojan targets landed in this latest On300 rankings update.

The On300 Rankings will see more updates as the summer progresses and especially after junior film starts coming in.

USC 2024 Commitments

CB Aaron Butler

Four-star cornerback Aaron Butler checks in as the No. 92 overall prospect, No. 11 cornerback and No. 4 prospect in California. That’s consistent with the other national rankings for Butler. He’s the No. 99 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus. Butler is the No. 9 cornerback and No. 5 California prospect there.

LB Dylan Williams

Linebacker Dylan Williams checks in as the No. 213 overall prospect and No. 17 linebacker. The four-star recruit is the No. 166 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus. He’s the No. 12 prospect in California in the Consensus, and the No. 14 prospect in the On3 Rankings.

WR Jason Robinson

Wide receiver Jason Robinson dropped to a three-star prospect and out of the On300 Rankings. He is still a four-star prospect and the No. 206 overall recruit in the country in the On3 Consensus.

USC still holds the No. 2 recruiting class in the nation for the 2024 class. It’s group of three coming in just a fraction of a point lower than Florida State’s group of four commitments.

Top-Ranked USC 2024 Targets

Trojan Targets in the Top Ten

USC lost out to Ohio State in the race for quarterback Dylan Raiola, the top-ranked player in the On300 Rankings. It will be very interesting to see where USC goes at that position. There are a few good ones in state, but the Trojans have yet to offer a second quarterback in that class.

Defensive lineman Justin Scott is the No. 3 overall prospect and No. 1 defensive lineman. He picked up a recent offer from the Trojans and seemed intrigued enough to give USC a look. The Trojans will need to work to pull the Chicago prospect out of the Midwest.

Edge defender Elijah Rushing is the No. 7 overall prospect and the second Arizona prospect in the top ten. USC offered this spring and got him on campus. But Rushing’s older brother is a walk-on at Oregon and the Ducks look to have a lead for the 6-foot-6, 226-pounder at this point.

#55

The No. 55 jersey has a long history at USC, so it’s fitting the Trojans are in the mix for the No. 55 prospect. That’s edge defender KingJoseph Edwards, who took a recent visit to USC and seemed to leave impressed with the Trojans. The Georgia prospect will be a tough pull away from the hometown Bulldogs, however.

Following Edwards in the rankings are running back Jason Brown at No. 56 and wide receiver Jeremiah Smith at No. 57. Both have visited USC. Brown is the nation’s No. 3 running back and USC will have to battle hometown Washington as well as Oregon for him. Smith is looking hard at Ohio State.

USC Targets Among California’s Best

USC is always going to work hard to bring in the best California prospects and the Trojans are in the mix for more than a few early on in 2024.

Interestingly, USC isn’t mentioned much for the top two in-state prospects. Quarterback Julian Sayin is the top-ranked player in California but seems to have his sights set out of state early on. Sayin is the No. 47 prospect nationally.

No. 2 California prospect is wide receiver Ryan Pellum. He’s another recruit who doesn’t talk much about USC interest.

The next group are all in the mix for USC.

Safety Peyton Woodyard is the No. 65 overall prospect and No. 3 California recruit. USC is recruiting him but Notre Dame is making a strong impact.

Offensive tackle Brandon Baker ranks as one of the “must-get” recruits in the 2024 class as the No. 95 overall prospect and No. 6 in-state recruit.

Cornerback Marcellus Williams and safety Marquis Gallegos, Nos. 6 and 9 in California, respectively, are very familiar with USC and top targets.

The Nos. 11 and 12 in-state prospects are cornerback Dakoda Fields and wide receiver Jason Mitchell. The Gardena (Calif.) Serra teammates visited USC recently and picked up offers from the Trojans.

Running back Lamar Radcliffe (No. 16), linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa (No. 17), cornerback Zabien Brown (No. 22) and offensive lineman DeAndre Carter (No. 29) are all top-30 in-state prospects to watch. for USC.
