WeAreSC On3 is a daily three-point briefing recapping news and notes surrounding USC Athletics. Today, we take a look at USC Basketball falling to Arizona, several big visitors who will be on campus this weekend, and Bobby Haskins earning an invite to the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.

Basketball Falls

Last night, USC Basketball suffered an 81-66 loss to number eleven Arizona in a game that was never really all that close.

With the defeat, USC is now 13-6 overall and 5-3 in Pac 12 play. The Trojans will look to bounce back tomorrow night when they visit Arizona State. Tip off is set for 7:00 PM PST on ESPNU.

New Visitors

USC is getting set to host several big-name visitors on campus this weekend. One of them, four-star safety Warren Roberson, will be back on campus for another visit.

At this time, however, Roberson remains committed to TCU, and the Horned Frogs are still the heavy favorites in Roberson’s recruitment.

In addition, former Florida offensive lineman Ethan White will visit campus this weekend. After four seasons at Florida, White entered the NCAA Transfer Portal following the Gators’ bowl game. He will have one season of eligibility remaining at his new school.

Michael Tarquin, a former teammate of White’s on the Gators’ offensive line, committed to USC last month.

Haskins to Collegiate Bowl

Ahead of the 2023 NFL Draft, now-former USC offensive lineman Bobby Haskins is officially headed to the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.

After a four-year career at Virginia, Haskins transferred to USC last offseason for his final year of eligibility. He was a major part of a much-improved Trojans’ offensive line unit in 2022, starting the majority of the season at left tackle.

The NFLPA Collegiate Bowl will take place just up the road at the Rose Bowl on January 28.
