WeAreSC On3 is a daily three-point briefing recapping news and notes surrounding USC Athletics. Today, we take a look at Andrew Vorhees making an appearance on NFL Network, several Trojans taking visits during NFL free agency, and USC signee Juju Watkins receiving a major trophy.

Vorhees Joins NFL Network

Yesterday, USC offensive lineman Andrew Vorhees joined NFL Network to discuss his impressive performance at last month’s NFL Combine.

A day after suffering a lower body injury during on-field drills, Vorhees—while on crutches—cranked out the most reps on the bench press of any player at this year’s combine.

The Trojan standout hopes to hear his name called in next month’s NFL Draft.

Free Agency Visits

NFL free agency is now in swing, and with it, several Trojans took visits to new teams yesterday.

First, former USC wide receiver Nelson Agholor visited the Baltimore Ravens. After starting his NFL career with the Philadelphia Eagles and the Las Vegas Raiders, Agholor spent the past two seasons with the New England Patriots.

In addition, former USC running back Ronald Jones II and former USC offensive lineman Chuma Edoga both visited with the Dallas Cowboys on Monday. Jones II won a Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs this past season after spending the previous four seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Edoga, meanwhile, spent the first four years of his professional career with the New York Jets and the Atlanta Falcons.

Watkins Receives Trophy

Yesterday, USC signee Juju Watkins officially received her Naismith Trophy as the best girls high school basketball player in the country.

In Watkins and Isaiah Collier, both USC Women’s and Men’s Basketball signed the top recruit in the 2023 class.
