WeAreSC On3 is a daily three-point briefing recapping news and notes surrounding USC Athletics. Today, we take a look at emoji watch returning, USC Baseball sweeping Washington State, and celebrating the great Marcus Allen on his birthday.

Emoji Watch

Ever since Lincoln Riley‘s arrival at USC 16 months ago, the USC Football Twitter account has tweeted out a simple Fight On emoji whenever a recruit commits to the Trojans.

On Sunday afternoon, we got the latest such emoji.

So who is USC’s latest commit? Stay tuned to WeAreSC.com to find out!

Baseball Sweeps Cougars

Over the weekend, USC Baseball swept Washington State at Dedeaux Field. With the victories, the Trojans improved to 7-2 in Pac-12 play.

Saturday night’s matchup even featured a celebrity sighting by none other than WeAreSC’s Scott Schrader.

Allen’s 2,342 rushing yards (according to the Heisman Trophy’s website—the exact number is somewhat disputed) during his 1981 Heisman Trophy season are by far the most in a single year in USC history. He is a member of both the College Football Hall of Fame and the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
