WeAreSC On3 is a daily three-point briefing recapping news and notes surrounding USC Athletics. Today, we take at two Trojans earning extremely early preseason honors, USC hosting a High School Coaches Social over the weekend, and the baseball team visiting Utah.

Early Preseason Honors

The calendar may have just flipped to April, but it’s never too early to start talking about preseason honors. On Friday, Walter Camp released its Preseason All-America First Team, and two Trojans made the list.

To no one’s surprise, Caleb Williams was the First Team quarterback. After winning the Heisman Trophy as a sophomore in 2022, Williams will look to lead USC to its first College Football Playoff berth in his junior campaign.

In addition, safety Calen Bullock received Preseason All-American honors. Bullock was named an All-American by Pro Football Focus last season after leading the Trojans with five interceptions.

High School Coaches Social

On Saturday, USC hosted a High School Coaches Social on campus.

Organized by USC’s recruiting staff, the event brought together numerous high school football coaches from throughout Southern California and the country.

Baseball Visits Utah

Over the weekend, USC Baseball traveled to Utah for a three-game series. The Trojans took two out of three games from the Utes, winning on Friday and Saturday before falling on Sunday.

USC now sits at 9-3 in Pac-12 play—good for the most wins in the conference, and the third-best winning percentage. The Trojans are back in action tomorrow night when they host Loyola Maramount at Dedeaux Field.
