Addison on Decision to Transfer

At USC’s Media Day on Friday, wide receiver Jordan Addison spoke publicly for the first time since he decided to transfer to USC from Pitt earlier this offseason.

When asked about the moment he knew that he wanted to be a Trojan, Addison did not hesitate to answer. “When I stepped on campus. Right away.”

As for his reaction to the rumors that he was unhappy at USC, Addison expressed his frustration. “Just some BS,” he said.

“It was definitely frustrating. But I wasn’t really too concerned with it. Because the truth will always come to the light. So I know what my focus is and my intent. All of that is just outside noise.”

Malachi Coleman’s Top Seven

Four-star athlete Malachi Coleman cut his list of schools down to seven over the weekend, and USC made the cut.

A native of Lincoln, Nebraska, On3 Consensus ranks Coleman as the number 77 overall player and the number two athlete in the class of 2023. In addition to USC, his list consists of Oklahoma, Michigan, Ole Miss, Oregon, Nebraska, and Georgia. Right now, the hometown Huskers are the heavy favorites to land Coleman.
