It’s transfer portal season! The college basketball transfer portal is officially in full gear, and On3 is on top of it, attempting to make portal life easier for all involved.

Let’s start with rankings. Everyone loves rankings. Today’s date is April 16, 2022, and the time is 6:30 PM EST. Here are the fifteen best shooting guards in the transfer portal as of this writing.

1. Grad transfer Antoine Davis (Detroit)

Antoine Davis is a 6-foot-1, 170-pound guard. He has been at Detroit-Mercy all four years in college.

In 2021-22 Davis averaged 23.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 1.0 steals in 37.0 minutes per game. He shot 42.9-percent from the field, 37.9-percent from three, and 88.2-percent from the free-throw line.

Davis was the 2021-22 Horizon League Player of the Year. He was awarded first-team All-Horizon all four years. Is the all-team leading scorer in Horizon League history and is 22nd all-time in NCAA Div. 1 history.

Antonio Reeves is a 6-foot-6, 185-pound shooting guard. He has played all three seasons at Illinois State.

In 2021-22 Reeves averaged 20.1 points. 3.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.1 steals in 34.9 minutes per game. He shot 46.9-percent from the field, 39.0-percent from three, and 81.8-percent from the free-throw line.

Reeves was second-team All-MVC in 2021-22 and the league’s Most Improved Player award winner.

Devin Carter is a 6-foot-3, 190-pound wing. He played his only collegiate season at South Carolina.

In 2021-22 Carter averaged 9.0 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 0.9 seals in 18.7 minutes per game. He shot 42.0-percent from the field, 26.7-percent from three, and 68.8-percent from the free-throw line.

Carter was voted to the 2021-22 SEC All-Freshman team.

In 2021-22 McNeil averaged 12.2 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 0.7 steals in 33.6 minutes per game. He shot 41.4-percent from the field, 36.8-percent from three, and 86.7-percent from the free-throw line.
