Transfer portal: Ranking the top players that entered on Tuesday

Thirty-nine players entered the transfer portal on Tuesday. This means the total number of entrants is approaching 1,250 players. In 2022, the transfer portal reached an all-time high of 1,649 players entered. Only 25 days into the 60-day period, we are more than 75 percent of the way there.

2023 On3 Transfer Portal Rankings

We are currently in the middle of the March 30-April 6 dead period, only to be followed by an April 10-13 dead period. A recruiting dead period is when college coaches are not permitted to have any in-person contact with recruits and/or their parents.

Transfer portal: latest recruiting intel on top targets

While the total number of players who went in today was not close to what we were seeing last week, the caliber of players who went in was significant. Stanford sophomore Harrison Ingram and Hofstra grad transfer Aaron Estrada are both rated as transfer portal five-stars.

1. SF Harrison Ingram (Stanford)

Harrison Ingram averaged 10.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 3.7 assists this season. He was the 2021-22 Pac 12 Rookie of the Year and a McDonald’s All-American. Ingram is currently the No. 3 player in the 2023 On3 Transfer Portal Ranking.

2. SG Aaron Estrada (Hofstra)

High school: Newark (NJ) St. Benedict’s

Aaron Estrada averaged 20.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 1.5 steals this season. He was named the CAA Player of the Year in back-to-back seasons. Estrada is currently the No. 6 player in the 2023 On3 Transfer Portal Rankings.

3. PG Tylor Perry (North Texas)

6. PG Jaden Bradley (Alabama)
