On300 4-star DB Rylon Dillard-Allen backs off his pledge to Arizona State

Less than a month ago, Phoenix Mountain Pointe four-star safety Rylon Dillard-Allen committed to the Arizona State Sun Devils.

He has decided to back off that pledge.

“I have decided to decommit from Arizona Stage and now I want to see what God has in store for me and visit other schools,” Dillard-Allen told On3.

Nebraska, Texas A&M and Washington are three schools Dillard-Allen named as schools of interest. He has an official visits to College State for June 14 and Seattle for June 21 locked in.

He wants to be committed by the time his season starts in August.

“I just want to be happy with my decision,” Dillard-Allen said. “My decision will come down to me doing what me and my family think is best for me.”

Dillard-Allen is a three-star prospect ranked No. 472 overall, No. 40 among safeties and No. 4 in Arizona in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

On3 rates Dillard-Allen higher than the other major recruiting services. He is a four-star recruit and ranks No. 265 overall, No. 23 among safeties and No. 2 in Arizona in the 2025 On300.
