There's no overstating the importance of the rush end position in this USC defense under coordinator Alex Grinch. The USC coaches would no longer have Drake Jackson to use there, but it looked as though there were plenty of potential options. But now, just two weeks away from the season opener against Rice, injuries are turning that spot into something of a question.
