The USC men’s basketball team will participate in the 2025 Maui Invitational, held at the Lahaina Civic Center in Lahaina, Hawaii, from Nov. 24-26, 2025.

The new-look Trojans under head coach Eric Musselman will be joined in Maui by seven other programs, including Baylor, Chaminade, North Carolina State, Oregon, Seton Hall, Texas and UNLV.

The Trojans will be playing in their third Maui Invitational, also participating in 1999 and 2012.

USC is already scheduled to play Oregon twice as part of its Big Ten conference schedule. The Trojans will also take on UCLA and Washington twice. The rest of the Big Ten schedule features road trips to Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Nebraska, Northwestern, Purdue and Rutgers, and home games against Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State and Wisconsin.

USC’s basketball program will look completely different this fall compared to last. Musselman was able to quickly hit the ground running and put together a roster that had just one player set to return following an exodus into the transfer portal.

Musselman has been able to land nine commitments out of the transfer portal plus two four-star high school prospects. Former Xavier guard Desmond Claude, Michigan forward Terrance Williams, Northern Colorado forward Saint Thomas, UMass center Josh Cohen, Boise State forward Chibuzo Agbo Jr. and UCSD point guard Bryce Pope are a few of the transfers expected to become impact players for the Trojans this fall.
