Personal Life

Football is in Dylan Raiola’s blood. He’s the son of former Nebraska and Detroit Lions offensive lineman Dominic Raiola. His father had a legendary career for Nebraska from 1998-2000, finishing as a consensus All-American and winning the Rimington Trophy for best center in college football. He played 14 years in the NFL for the Detroit Lions and became the first player in franchise history to play in 200 games with the team. Before transferring to Chandler (Arizona) High ahead of his junior season, Raiola threw for 3,341 yards and 32 touchdowns in 12 games as a sophomore at Burleson (Texas) High. In 2022, Raiola threw for 2,435 yards and 22 touchdowns while completing 64% of his passes. Away from football, Raiola is strong in his faith in Jesus Christ. “Without God, I wouldn’t be able to do anything I do now,” he said. His mother, Yvonne Raiola, played water polo at the University of Hawaii, Manoa along with three other aunts and uncles who played collegiate athletics. His sister, Taylor Raiola, plays volleyball at TCU.
