About HuskerOnline

Formed in 2001, HuskerOnline is the market-leading Nebraska football website on the internet.

HuskerOnline was a part of the Rivals network, until moving over to On3 officially in September of 2022. While at Rivals, HuskerOnline was one of the five biggest overall sites on the network in terms of subscribers, and it routinely led the network in content page views.

Owned and operated by Sean Callahan, HOL is led by a team of experts that includes the likes of former Lincoln Journal Star columnist Steven Sipple and long-time writers Robin Washut and Bryan Munson.

HuskerOnline’s primary mission is to cover Nebraska football and recruiting, but it also fully staffs men’s basketball, volleyball and baseball. The newest member of the HuskerOnline team is Abby Barmore, who specializes in Nebraska volleyball coverage.

HOL is also the only site that has a full-time video producer that travels the country to cover Husker recruiting. Gregg Peterson has been with HuskerOnline since 2011, he worked in Rivals.com’s video division from 2004 to 2011. Peterson leads the way in producing content on HuskerOnline’s YouTube Channel, the largest Husker-based media channel.

In addition, each week HOL produces the HuskerOnline Podcast, which drops every week, along with airing statewide on the radio in Omaha, Lincoln, Kearney, Hastings and Fremont.

The heartbeat of HuskerOnline though is the community led by so many great Husker fans. The Red Sea Scrolls is the most active Husker community on the internet.
