Florida State just lost a couple more players to the transfer portal as part of the spring window. On3 has learned that defensive back Jaden Floyd and wide receiver Jeremiad Giedrys have now entered the portal.

Floyd spent three seasons at FSU after coming out of the 2021 class while Giedrys was a redshirt senior who’;d hardly ever gotten on the field for the Seminoles.

Neither player came out of high school ranked as recruits and the only one to record a stat of any kind on the field for FSU was Floyd. He made one tackle in the only game he appeared in last fall. Giedrys has also gotten on the field a few times but failed to register any numbers.

The ‘Noles lost other guys this week, including wide receiver Vandrevius Jacobs, who entered the transfer portal after a season with the program.

Jacobs played in three games this season to preserve his redshirt. In modest playing time, Jacobs finished with three catches for 60 yards and a touchdown last season.

He’ll now look elsewhere to continue his college football career.

As a member of the Class of 2023, Jacobs was a four-star recruit out of Fort Pierce (Fla.) Westwood, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 60 overall prospect in the state, the No. 52 wide receiver in the class and the No. 337 overall prospect in the class.
