Fairburn (Ga.) Langston Hughes four-star interior offensive lineman Dontrell Glover has eliminated five more programs from his top schools list and is now down to four.

The one-time Alabama commit told Rivals on Tuesday that he is down to Florida State, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee. He told On3 earlier this spring that he was eyeing a summer commitment.

“For me, every visit is important. I want to build strong relationships and see where I fit in at. The relationships and how I fit into the system are key when I commit,” Glover told On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons.

Glover is the No. 283 overall prospect and No. 21 IOL in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 36 player in Georgia.

The Seminoles are currently the team to beat for Glover in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM). Not only that, but the 6-foot-3, 310-pounder named FSU as his top school back in March. He visited for the first time in February and has since returned to Tallahassee.

“You can say Florida State is on top of my list right now,” Glover told Simmons. “I visited, I got the offer, and I liked it a lot. The staff really stood out. Coach Mike Norvell is a cool guy and I see him as a younger Nick Saban. He has great energy, he is a smart coach and he gives a lot to the game.”

Besides the high praise for Norvell, Glover has also build a solid relationship with offensive line coach Alex Atkins throughout the new stage of his recruitment.

“Coach Atkins reaches out as much as he can,” Glover said. “He calls me, he texts me and he has always shown interest. We have a great relationship too.”

Glover was one of the many prospects to decommit from Alabama in January following the retirement of Nick Saban. Aside from FSU, top schools in the SEC have continued to grab his attention, with UGA, South Carolina and Tennessee now rounding out his finalists.

“I live in Georgia and a lot of people around me like Georgia. I camped there last summer and I like Coach Kirby Smart. Coach Stacy Searels and I stay in touch too. I hope to get back up there,” Glover previously said of the Dawgs.
