Goodyear (Ariz.) Desert Edge four-star interior offensive lineman Jalayne Miller has committed to Stanford, he announced on Tuesday via social media.

The 6-foot-4, 300-pounder chose the Cardinal over Auburn, Wisconsin and USC, among others.

Miller is the No. 383 overall prospect and No. 29 IOL in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 3 recruit in Arizona.

After taking an official visit to Palo Alto in May, Miller is now the latest blue-chip recruiting win for Andrew Luck and the new staff at Stanford. He had other official visits upcoming this month, but the trench monster isn’t wasting any more time on his decision.

Ahead of his official visits, Miller made it clear that education would play a legitimate role in his decision. Stanford of course made a splash in that department and has now wrangled in one of its biggest recruiting wins of the cycle.

“Stanford was one of my dream schools,” Miller told On3’s Chad Simmons last month. “Academics will be a big thing for me when I am deciding where to commit for college.”

Stanford pushing for Top-30 recruiting class

The Cardinal have now picked up a pair of four-star commitments this month. On June 4, Honey Grove (Texas) four-star running back Ryelan Morris flipped to Stanford from Baylor. He’s the No. 192 recruit and No. 17 RB this cycle.

As a junior for Honey Grove, Morris rushed for 1,200 yards and 25 touchdowns, per MaxPreps. He also threw for three scores and has compiled over 90 total TDs on the ground and through the air during his high school career.

Miller is also the second Arizona native to join the Stanford class this month, flanking Phoenix Brophy College Prep three-star wide receiver Daylen Sharper, who pledged on June 3. Sharper is the No. 83 WR this cycle.

Four in-state recruits help bolster the pledge list: Los Angeles Loyola three-star EDGE Max Meier, Stockton Edison three-star athlete Langdon Horace, Folsom three-star cornerback Jason Hill Jr. and Mountain View St. Francis three-star linebacker Chase Cahoon.

Sammamish (Wash.) Eastside Catholic three-star LB Wassie Lugolobi committed in March and is the No. 5 player in Washington. Other commits in the class include: Conroe (Texas) three-star cornerback Xavier Harmon, Brookville (N.Y.) Long Island Lutheran three-star wide receiver Jacob Butler and McMurray (Pa.) Peters Township three-star EDGE Lucas Shanafelt.
