Colorado forward Tristan Da Silva has submitted paperwork to become eligible for the 2024 NBA draft and is forgoing his remaining college eligibility, per ESPN’s Jonathan Givony. Da Silva spent four seasons with the Buffaloes.

Da Silva averaged 16.0 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game this season while shooting 49.3% from the field and 39.5% from beyond the arc. Da Silva averaged 18 points while shooting 60% from the field in Colorado’s three games in the NCAA Tournament.

For his efforts, he was named to the All-Pac-12 Second Team. It wasn’t his first time reeling in such honors. During his junior year in the 2022-23 season, Da Silva averaged 15.9 points and 4.8 rebounds per game while connecting on 49.6% of his attempts from the floor.

Da Silva was named an All-Pac-12 First Team member for his standout season. In his four years at Colorado, Da Silva amassed 124 appearances and 98 starts for 1,456 points and 475 rebounds.

Tristan Da Silva played high school basketball in Germany, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 60 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

In ESPN’s latest NBA mock draft, Da Silva was projected to be the No. 19 overall pick.

“Da Silva, a plug-and-play option at nearly 23 years old, brings coveted defensive versatility and feel for the game. He also doesn’t need plays called for him, which could be attractive operating alongside existing stars,” Givony wrote.

Colorado freshman Cody Williams declares for NBA Draft

Da Silva isn’t the only Colorado standout ready to take the next step in his respective basketball career. On April 22, Colorado forward Cody Williams declared for the 2024 NBA Draft. He only spent one season with the Buffaloes.

In Williams’ lone season at Colorado, he averaged 11.9 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game while shooting 55.2% from the field and 41.6% from beyond the arc. At 6-foot-8 with a 7-foot-1 wingspan, Williams boasts equally enticing potential on defense.

In Colorado’s two games in the NCAA Tournament, Williams tallied a combined 21 points while connecting on 7-13 attempts from the floor. Williams scored a career-high 23 points while shooting 3-4 from downtown in Colorado’s 86-70 win over Oregon on Jan. 18.

Cody Williams played high school basketball at Perry High School (AZ), where he was a five-star prospect. He was the No. 6 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle.
