As we all await the arrival of EA Sports College Football 25, some more information regarding the game has slowly been revealed or leaked. On Wednesday, the alleged Standard Edition Cover was potentially leaked on social media, showing three cover stars.

Matt Brown of the Extra Points Newsletter reported as such, saying three different positions from three unique conferences would feature.

Colorado wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter is front and center on the alleged leak, wearing a white Buffaloes jersey. To his left is star Michigan running back Donovan Edwards in the famous Maize and Blue. On the other side is Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers, palming a football toward us.

In the background appears to be the Rose Bowl, arguably the most iconic stadium college football has. It’s the same place EA Sports’ original teaser video was filmed.

Multiple editions of the game are expected to be released by EA for players across the country. This will produce a few covers and have college football fans decide which one they want.

A few days ago, the Deluxe Edition cover was released, featuring the same three athletes. However, more can be seen in the background. Georgia quarterback Carson Beck, Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe, and Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins are all visible in the tunnel before walking onto the field.

Beyond them are plenty of helmets, with fans finding out where their favorite team is. Flags from top schools are there as well.

EA Sports College Football 25 set for summer release

As we go through the college football offseason, the release of EA Sports College Football 25 has seemingly become a part of the calendar. When the summer months are usually dull and eventually move into talking season, the video game is expected to break things up for fans out there.

If you check the EA Sports website, there is a countdown happening, set to expire at 11 a.m. ET. Nobody is quite sure what will be revealed but at this point, anything will be taken. Maybe the covers will be officially announced or a release date.

The on-field games will kick off on Aug. 24, with a few Week 0 matchups taking place. Thousands of online games will have been played by then, though. Whether it’s dynasty mode, ultimate team, or road to glory, college football fans will be happy to finally have EA Sports College Football 25 in their hands.
