There’s a fair amount of talent leaving after this year. Also there are some obvious areas of weakness. Who among the 2022 recruits do you think will play early? I think the Governor Mifflin running back Nick Singleton could. Thoughts??

Is Singleton an EE? That will determine a lot whether he plays or not. He's got plenty of speed, but the usual questions will rear: can he pick up blitzes? Can he catch out of the back field?

The QBs have to be in the conversation. Is SC coming back? Do we go to the port? Does our backups progress enough?

WR is generally a spot freshman can get on the field. Saunders seems to have the speed, but any could show up and assert themselves. Some are probably destined for DBs as well.

DDS seems to have the right size and ability to see snaps at DE. Can he hold up to the run or how much pass rush can he generate? That will determine if he sees the field early.

I always wonder this questions. Looks like this year only 1 freshman played although it looks a 2nd one will burn his redshirt. For next year, I would bet on 1 WR to at least play and maybe start. I wouldn’t be surprised if DDS starts or at least is in the 4 DE rotation. If jacobs is the only returning starting LBer I could see a freshman LB being a backup. I wouldn’t bet on any of the following positions: Dbacks, oline, TE, DT. Any interesting article could be which redshirt freshman play next year. I could see tengwall, wallace (WR), the 2 LBs and a DT or DE.

With the amount of transfers to go or guys who declare early, any freshman who enrolls early has a shot to play

My secretary’s son plays for Governor Mifflin and is Singleton’s best friend. He is enrolling in January.

How the incoming freshmen develop under the S & C program is also a factor in potential early playing time. (Especially on the OL and DL)
