Be embarrassed about stuff you can control, not the outcome or performance of a sporting team in which you have no control over.
well if we are to take pride in our team when they win, it only makes sense to be embarassed when they lose. the other point of view kind of is to not care one way or the other. that kind of doesn't make sense.
