According to this informed poster over on TexAgs, apparently it involves Blood, God, Terror and Old Man Winter himself (and I thought this place could be melodramatic):

It is now apparent that Aggie football and Aggie fans are in open rebellion. Factions and battle lines clearly drawn. There will be blood before it gets any better.

This is like a bad car wreck. You don't want to look but you can't help yourself. I for one am taking no side but, may God forgive you all that do. The night is dark and full of terrors. Winter is coming as well.

If OU had lost two straight by close to 20, and Kyler Murray was sitting on the bench watching, there would be some serious hand wringing here, too. A&M has LSU still ahead on the schedule. But interestingly, they've already played four of the six other teams in the West, with five games left on their schedule. Seems kind of backwards, but of course, the SEC teams all have a powder puff team that they play in November.

They get two of the easier teams in the East to fill it out, South Carolina and Vandy, along with Western Carolina and Auburn to fill it out. If they lose more than one of those, and Kyler doesn't see the field again, there might be a bonfire inside the new stadium. Or in Kevin's front yard.

There is a blog by John Lopez on CBSHouston/local.com that is explosively crticial and revealing about the current situation with the Aggie football team. Basically, besides calling out certain unit coaches (see WR) the piece says there's a split within the locker room and its caused by the circumstances surrounding the two QB's. According to the article Murray was supposedly promised by Sumlin that he would start and now that he has been benched the team has taken sides and the trust factor Sumlin might have had is now in question.

Heard Lopez on the radio this morning talking about it, too. He said that Murray was looking at backing out of his verbal and committing to the Horns.
Sumlin had a conversation and promised him X-amount of playing time.
Apparently, Murray had a sideline meltdown during the Alabama game and cussed out an assistant coach.
As penalty, he was benched last week, which violated Sumlin's promise of playing time.
Now Sumlin has left himself open for integrity questions - not living up to his promise.
Lesson to be learned - Tell the best player you recruit that he will be given every opportunity to win the starting job, then stand by the commitment.
If he wins, great. If not, oh well.
