Big 12 can't play defense

Great to see how the Big 12 can't play defense, but the ACC can. NOT! Baylor hangs almost 1/2 a hundred without a starting QB while giving a decent defensive performance. Maybe there is some defense in the Big 12 after all.

I'm just glad that kid on the onside kick receiving team batted that kick out of bounds. It was about to get interesting. But that was a terrific game plan by Briles today. His guys deserve a ton of credit. I think UNC expected to roll past them. I expected UNC to roll past them

But Baylor's OLine kicked their butts all day. No quarterback, and Baylor did not punt the ball all day. Of course Briles went on fourth down a lot. But he made all but one or two of them. I don't like the guy. But he coached a great game Tuesday.

Briles dug the old single wing out of moth balls and made it work. I feel as if he could do the same thing with the Wishbone T.

The officiating by the Big10 was terrible. Things were not going Baylor's way in the first half.

Briles basically invented that offense in like a month. I don't know anything about coaching or scheming, but that seems pretty impressive. I also hate Baylor, but geez, got to give them serious respect.

I thought his son did an awesome job. He did a lot for his career in that game. His name will be coming up for some HC jobs after that game.

The Big 12 doesn't play defense and the best defenses play in the Big 10 and SEC for the TOP teams not the also rans.

Briles won two state championships running the wishbone only to throw it out for the spread, setting a high school national record for total offense.

All Briles had to do was study Bill Snyder and KSU. That was/is their offense.

But I do respect that he made it work.
