Of course OU is in the playoffs so what about remaining Big XII teams? Read these projected matches on another thread. I like TCU over Florida, OSU over NC and WVU over UCLA. Baylor without Russell cannot outscore Oregon. A&M pride will rise up to defeat Taco Tech. KSU has no business being in a bowl and will be embarrassed. As I see it, 3-3 for the Big XII in bowls.

Sugar TCU - Florida
Alamo Baylor - Oregon
Cactus WVU - UCLA
Liberty KSU - Arkansas
Russell Athletic OSU - N. Carolina
Texas TTech - TA&M

Actually, their pecking order is not correct and selection is off based on conference criteria.

Sugar Baylor-Miss (assuming Bama and Baylor win Saturday)
Alamo TCU or OSU ( up to the Alamo bowl to chose)
Russell TCU or OSU
Liberty KSU
Texas TTech
Cactus No Big 12 team available

When will the actual bowl games be announced? In the past I believe it was the day after the CCG's.

My edit: I guess the committee has to choose the 4 before the rest can be decided. They usually do their ranking on Tuesdays.........

When they went into the final week, TCU could not win any scenario in the conference's three way tie breaker. I don't like the tie breaker, but I understand why they're using it.7

TCU was -20 against OSU and plus 7 against Baylor. But they had no chance to get in when they faced Baylor. Baylor is in because TCU was -13 so they were eliminated, meaning that head to head, Baylor beat OSU, so they were in. If TCU had won by 19, they'd have been -1 and Baylor would have been eliminated. But since OSU beat TCU, then OSU would have advanced.

It was not possible for OSU to be eliminated no matter the result of the TCU-Baylor game, because OSU's diferential was a positive number. You cannot have the lowest differential with a positive number.

The irony of that is that it was in Baylor's best interest to be sure that they didn't beat OSU by more than 19. Letting off the gas meant that OSU couldn't be eliminated, which is the only way they could be eliminated in a three way. Had Baylor beat OSU by 35, then they'd have been at risk to lose the Sugar Bowl with a loss to TCU. They were not since they only won by ten.

Baylor -Ole Miss will be fun to watch if Stidham plays but TCU-Oregon would be even better I think. Assume OSU can handle N. Carolina. Should be a good bowl season for the B12.

I think there is a small chance that the Cotton Bowl takes somebody besides Ole Miss. The Rebels were there last year. Florida vs Baylor would be very interesting. At least to me.

I would not assume OSU is better than UNC.

K2C - I believe everything will be announced on Sunday, December 6th. At least the 4 teams in the playoffs for sure.
This.
I haven't checked the TV schedule, but I heard them say on TV the other day that they will have a THREE HOUR build up to the announcement of the 4 playoff teams.
Once the 4 playoff teams are confirmed, then there will be a bowl selection show.
All on Sunday.
