I don't like it that Baker runs to the right so much but was thrilled to see on the highlights that in O/T the OC figured out how to give him the choice, he saw it: straight in for 6!
I think you might talk to the guards about that.
I was at a sports bar in Allen,, and we thought that Baker was playing very well. He was mostly not getting much help, especially from the OLine. When you HAVE to get rid of it early, the defense can sit on the timing throws and not worry about getting beat deep.
Baker missed a throw or two for sure. But that was almost like Josh at the end of 2000, willing the team to a win. Baker didn't have a sore elbow. But he had one of the two worst OLines of the Stoops era. He made a half dozen great throws last night that the receiver turned into an incompletion.
Todd Blackledge, who agreed with you, called for the captain to come in, but I disagreed with both of you. Baker is the man moving forward, until he gets hurt.
