Current OL - do you think any of the starters will ever play in the NFL?

if the current OL - starters and a couple of the others that rotate in, are so bad, then most would say NONE are going to ever make it in the NFL. Do you think any of them will ever be drafted/UFA and make any NFL team even as a backup? I hear people talking about Walker leaving for the NFL draft next spring - is someone going to draft him?

Both of the OT's shouldn't be playing in college for a top 20 program, as PSU can not beat good teams with them whiffing against talented DE's.

And who on the interior, that collectively can't open a running lane, could do so in the NFL?

It was good to see Dawkins in the game yesterday at Guard, and I'm hoping to see both Fashanu and Tengwall playing OT against Rutgers.... although I don't believe there is a chance that it happens.

Rasheed Walker. Someone will take a flyer on him and develop. Caeden wallace possibly but as a guard. He’s just not a tackle

Maybe a flyer on Walker but if anyone watches Saturday’s debacle, neither he nor Wallace should get a sniff from the NFL. At least they hustle back to help pick Clifford or the RBs up after the DE or LB blows up the play.

I feel kind of bad for Wallace. He's not an OT hopefully he can go back to his OG position next year.

I've seen Rasheed Walker projected to go in the 2nd-3rd round in different mock drafts. Looked at old recruiting classes, and we've brought in 28 OL between 2014-2020, none of them making All Big Ten 1st Team. Donovan Smith, Bates, McGovern and Fries are the only PSU OL on active rosters.

When did he make it in? I missed that. Also, what position?
I believe he was in at Right Guard, as he was right center of a post play scrum, but I'm not really sure. I just noticed the #66 on the back of Dawkins on a camera shot from the back of the PSU players at the end of a play.

And I don't remember at what point in the game that was. I could go back through the game as I have it recorded, but that would be unnecessary pain I don't want to experience......

If they do that’s incredibly damning of the college coaching they received in college, where to be charitable, they were less than good.

Well Walker is a Sr so he will definitely leave and get drafted

At beginning of season, there were 4 on pro rosters - McGovern, Fries, Smith and Bates.
There were 31 PSU players on pro rosters, so OL was about 30% underepresented relative to other PSU positions (assuming 4 OL per 25 starters).
16 D, 12 O, 3 ST.
Teams with more than PSU: OSU has 8, UM 7, Iowa 5.

Not sure what’s up with Scruggs. He looked really good last year when he started getting snaps.
