Anybody else glad to see the meerkat offense is dead? That has been one of the most refreshing things this year. No more everybody lining up and then looking repeatedly at the sidelines. Line up, play is called, audible if needed (by the QB), and then snap the damn ball.

Looks like there are options at receiver this season. And I really like the routes. Every pass doesn't take 12 days to set up and require advanced degrees in physics to execute. Bye bye Norvell.

The two back set featuring Perine and Mixon is going to be money this season. There was a taste tonight but you fellers ain't seen nothing yet.

Sure it's Akron, but the D looked pretty sound. There were some punts returned too. And the kicker looks good.

It was hot and busy. Not as bad as some past games though. I had 6 paramedics deployed on bikes. I could have used 8 for the first half. It's hard to get medics to sign up for the abuse of the first game. All in all, successful from all fronts.

Sounds much better for you Red Cross wearing fellows than I feared it would be.
So, a few geriatrics on pure oxygen for a bit, like that?
Did you birth any babies...and linger looking at the hoo ha...like Aqua lung of Jethro Tull fame? (eyeing little girls with bad intent)

Nevermind, you're bound to silence via those stupid hippa laws...not a problem...:D

SNOT running down his nose
greasy fingers smearing shabby clothes

Nah that's not our boy in blue; that would be more my style.....

As for the OT, hell yes from what I saw good riddance to the Meerkat or whatever the garbage between plays, stalling while looking for signs from the sidelines...

I didn't get to watch the game, but I'm elated to hear this. Hopefully going forward we won't have to worry about ridiculous wasting of timeouts or delay of game penalties because it takes so long to get the play in.

there was one drive where we went to hurry up that involved Mixon quite a bit...every time he came back to towards the huddle he was waving his hand to hurry up. I don't think we have even a clue what this offense will be about in the future...it was a snap shot.
