Like they weren't going to find a case here - The Dow is like an Old Women - It might rain today - got to drop 100 points.
I think the guy that tested positive is already feeling better. Test positive 11/29/2021 iirc

I saw that the President of Botswana was upset that his country was being called ground zero for the Omicron variant. Botswana's Health Director claimed that 16 of the 19 cases they've had so far were asymptomatic.

One word: Workhorse. I read somewhere that this stock is ready to triple. Wonder if it's too late to get in at $17/share.

Yes, but US deaths from Covid this year are greater than last year, and that's with three vaccines and new treatments that were not available last year.
People will tell you that's because more unvaccinated people are dying - for some reason. IMO the point is, there has been nothing yet to suggest that this variant is as dangerous as the previous variants. Until that is known, maybe everyone should relax a bit, instead the media is pushing the panic button. Fear sells.
The U.S. was largely shut down last year. There has been more opportunity to spread the virus this year as things have opened up.
As always, the open questions are who is dying and why?

Just a guess, but I don't think it's the danger of the variant the markets are worried about.
