Rutgers at 9th? Seems very high to me. I would place Michigan ahead of us until we can prove we can beat them more than once every three or four years. Iowa at 5th seems high also considering how do they stack up against the likes of Oregon and USC.
We don't play Michigan this year but I agree they are a threat to beat PSU for a playoff spot. IMO their game vs Texas is huge for PSU. They play USC and Oregon at home and OSU on the road. If they beat Texas they can lose to OR & OSU and still finish 10-2 with a signature win on their resume.Rutgers at 9th? Seems very high to me. Makes perfect senseI'd say it's twofold.
1. We don't play them
2. They have 3 publicly believed hard conference games to our 2.
If we had their schedule and vice versa, I would guess the rankings would be flipped.
I can identify at least six (6) B1G teams that will finish higher than PSU.
Do we miss the playoffs?Ohio State
Oregon
Michigan
USC
Washington
Iowa
