Don't get me wrong. She enjoys the excitement around the OU game. She doesn't understand it. What she hates is the other college football games I get into.....starting with the OSU game tomorrow. BTW, say Hi to Gypsy...........

Yep, I lost a pretty good damn girlfriend when she wanted to talk about 'feelings' during a OU/Nebraska Big 8 title game.
By the fourth quarter I had her and all her crap out of my place. (it wasn't all downside, OU won)
I was elated and sad at the same time.

(she had this clinching thing she did that was just a mind blower. She was a former gymnast. Ooo, baby)

Well, dumasscus, you won't see her lady parts until January!

What the hell were you thinking?
Why would he want anything to do with her lady parts until after January? The football season is a once in a lifetime experience, not to ever be repeated in exact duplicate. His lady, well he's done that before and will do it again.

Unless she's the prolific expecting zero reciprocation oral during the game type, she offers nothing he can't wait until after football season to get.

What I hear on game days -

Before Game:
Me
- "I'm going to watch the game, so I'm going to be unavailable for awhile."
Her - "OK yeah, get yourself some beer and enjoy the game. Lock yourself in the game room so (son) can't disturb you."

30 minutes into the game:
Her
- "Is the game still on? Can you help me with this? Can you give your son some attention? He's whining that no one will play with him. Is this what you're going to do every weekend?"

And it's not just football. Before we married, she told me what a huge NBA fan she was because I shared my passion with her. She told me she went to Lakers and Clippers games all of the time (she's from LA).

When we married, I got Mavs season tickets for the two of us. She went to 2 games with me and had excuses for all of the others. The two games she went to, she didn't witness more than 10 seconds of basketball. She was on Facebook posting selfies of herself and chatting with her friends about BS the entire game. She might have even complained about neck pain from looking down at the phone for 3 hours.

In our 8 years together, I've not seen her watch a single game of basketball. Not even the 2011 NBA Finals that the Mavs won.

My wife is a fraud.

K2C,

My wife is the same way. As I was looking over the list of games being played tonight and getting pretty excited about the weekend's match ups and she was complaining about the 'start of football season.' She will watch the OU games with me (and we're going to Tennessee next week), but if it's a night game, rarely will she make it past the end of the third quarter before she loses interest and wants to go to bed. Fun hater.
