Let's face it, the Big XII is a T@rd, and we don't have the balls to leave, so why can't you guys step up and put this loser of a conference out of its misery.

In what other conference would we challenge for a national championship as regularly as we have in the Big 12? Moving would be stupid if you ask me.

That's because the $EC $EC $EC beats up on each other so bad that Mizzou can compete. The $EC is like fighting tigers, lions, bears, and other **** like sharks, and scorpions, and fire ants every week. Too many players die over the course of the season from playing juggernauts like Vandy, Tennessee, Texas aTm, and Mississippi State and all of those super tough death matches they schedule for OOC games.

Thing is...OU for the last handful of years is having trouble even winning the Big XII title, much less making a legit run at a national title. So I agree that switching conferences isn't exactly the answer. OU needs to work on rebuilding the program, regardless of what conference they are in.

I'm talking about overall in the big 12. It wouldn't get better in a different conference.

No chance of leave because OU has to take the pukes and no one wants them!

I keep hearing this but I've never heard or read an official statement declaring "Let it be so" (apologies to Star Trek). When did the legislative issue a proclamation that wherever we go, Okie Light has to follow. I think this is an assumption, and you know what they say about "assume."

Football has always been a game where teams go in streaks of greatness and then streaks of mediocrity. Such is the case with both OU and Texas. What this conference needs to regain it historic position among the Power 5 conferences is for OU and Texas get back to traditional form. If OU and Texas were back in their game the Big XII would be placed very well to put teams in the new four team playoff. The likes of TCU and Baylor just won't cut it.

As my old mother used to tell me when times were bad, "this too will pass". And, this OU and Texas down cycle won't last to long. Both schools have to much to lose by not getting their programs turned around.

I won't worry about it to much.

I'm not for leaving the Big 12 as much as adding two high quality teams to generate some excitement...

As much as I hate to say it, OU is a much better fit for the SEC than the Pac12 or the Big 12. Better competition breeds better results in those that seek it. I think we could do better.

I am content with the B12 as it is though. The Schlonghorns are down, but Baylor has picked it up, TCU is rockin and there is still competition even if it comes from those that shouldn't be competitors.

Let's just freakin do it and be hungry for a National Championship no matter who is in the way.
