Yeah, not my first time, but, can't see this too much...it's inspiring.
Sterling, fourth (in hopes) of a long line of Shepards that will play for the original Big Red.

AWESOME, Sterling is a great kid and athlete. I wish him all the luck. Makes me really think and appreciate Bob. Our coach is great.

When you learn about what Sterling's childhood was like, it's pretty hard not to like this young man whose story is so real and inspiring. Sooner for life is my guess, and I'd love it if he was part of the coaching staff at some point off in the future.
The best part about acts of kindness like this is that they cascade and reach further than the original recipient.

Excellent; thanks for posting. This story is a prime example of the tremendous character of a man who quietly cares about the well being of young people in need of positive influences. One more example of why we have the best person in America to represent OU as our head coach. Thank you Coach Bob Stoops.
