Yep, Fox sports 1.

The flagship station. 150 on Dish in the Tulsa area.
It should be available to you if you have regular satellite service.

On Verizon around Dallas, Fox Sports 1 is channel 83 regular broadcast and 583 on HD.. And I suspect elsewhere also.

cant find it on my dish schedule

Did a little sleuthing, I even put on my Columbo raincoat, at any rate, you can call Dish, and for a few bucks a month add that 'package' that includes Fox 1.
When the seasons over, bag it.
They don't care, they'll be glad to have you for any length of time.

Ten Dollars a month by the time you pay all the add on's and taxes will be up around $14. You should be getting FS1 for basic stuff. I am peeved at Verizon. I signup up for the sports package which included MLB, NFL, NHL and NBA Networks. And it included what I really wanted, the three FOX College Sports Channels. But they took those three away while still charging me the same thing, then want another $12 a month, which means $16 for what they promised to provide when I re-upped. I'm paying over $170 for internet, a land line and three tvs, two with HD. THat seems pretty steep already to me.

I don't think I'll be renewing when they come lying to me again. But at least I do have FS1.

If it's any consolation, the average for what you have is 210 nationally.

So, do with that what you will.

PS, I'm paying 185 for just about the same list.

Doesn't surprise me, but that is nuts. HULU anybody? But I think that annoys me the most is that OU wants to charge a hundred bucks a year to provide simple stuff like Bob's pressers. I mean they're already making a good bit from FOX for all sorts of stuff.

The presser from Monday and post game for half the schools in the country is free. I can watch Saban every week from 800 miles away on SEC Network. But I have to pay for Bob. I almost think that is why Verizon dropped FOX College Sports, IMO. OU wants to gouge us a little more.

I don't begrudge the first game PPV. It's part of how Joe C sells out a game against a team from a far lesser program. I don't think they'd have continued the sellout streak if we could have seen it for free on TV.

I'm just peeved and it's late. But I appreciate your feedback. I just don't think it's a good deal to pay over $170 for pretty basic stuff. .

Is the game not televised by a local, OKC or T-town station that you can Glaum onto like we used to have or have they stripped the locals of that right...?

Local broadcasts of games went the way of the dinosaur many years ago. Kinda like that land line Plaino is still paying for.

;)

Plaino, I'm with you on the internets/cable pricing. If any of you smart guys can post on "cutting the cord" that would be appreciated.

I'm dealing with the same on cell plans. I messed up when I did not accept At&T unlimited data plan. I never thought I would use my phone for more than making phone calls. If my kid had not bought me an iPhone I would still be using a flip phone??? I hate the learning curve.

Dropped cable last year. Refuse to pay for some things we're never going to watch.

Plus, I'll be at the game. Rolling down the I-44 turnpike early in the am from Tulsa.

I have to have a land line. It is for my business as my office is in my home. I have a predictive dialer that make my initial contacts with cusomers when they are due for service. It only works with an LL.
