I am happy we got this far this year. Hell we did it with a walk on qb, let's see what happens next year.

We were #19 and expected to finish 3rd or 4th in the conference. From what I saw here most had us losing 4-5 games. I figured 8-4 to 10-2, with 8-4 more likely and 10-2 being a great season.
After the game yesterday a friend said OU just wasn't as good as people thought. I reminded him that based on preseason projections OU was better this year than people thought. Funny how perspective and expectations change over the course of a season.

Expectations went from 0 to 60, now it's throw the coaches and team under the bus and fun over them.Totally unfair and bad fans.

Not to be a sunshine pumper (because we undoubtedly got absolutely manhandled in the 2nd half), is that we were ahead at halftime. It's not like the game was over before it started. The #1 team in the nation really is that good and deserves to be so. I'm disappointed, and to a certain extent, disgusted in our lack of tackling and hits coming off the line, but 2016 is primed for another great run. It was a let down for sure, but we have a lot to be proud of this year and a lot to look forward to next year. At least we're not dumpster fire Texas and at least we're not 38-0 Michigan State.
