As many games as I've see us play this year, it amazes me how this team stops going to Buddy during flat, dry times.

We have a legitimate superstar who is a scoring machine and we don't get him the ball to create his play. Buddy is a 90% free throw shooter, 50+% on his 3's, FG % out of sight good and we don't go to him in crunch time.

Frustrating.

the problem with Hield, only problem, is he is so prone to stupid turnovers. Just mind blowingly stupid turnovers.

It also amazes me how lazy this team is in working back to the basketball in pressure situations.

And nearly on queue, those two problems almost bite OU in the butt in the last couple seconds of the game. The last 2 fouls on Lattin were certainly of the ghost variety.

Also, I think them awarding that last ball to OSU was insane. It only slightly defied physics in the way Hield was reaching for the ball and then it shooting out to the side.

A win is a win, I do think they played down to OSU, I also think OSU got many lucky bounces that went in. It don't matter if you win by 2 or 30 you still win. 14-1 baby!

A win is a win, especially in GIA. However, they need to be better at their away from the ball play and more consistent in their effort. When they're moving and rotating, they pull away from teams with ease and they look impossible to defend. When they get complacent and start standing around, they make mistakes. Looking forward to the WVU game.

Positive take away from tonight was Cousins starting to step back up. His shot looked good. Woodard is insanely consistent and Lattin is a defensive force down low. That dude has some insane range. His offensive game looked amazing. I read a stat where he is in the top 10 in the country in field goal percentage.

Yes...just like a QB, a shooter's confidence can be fragile. As long as they keep getting open looks, they've got to shoot. And Coach Iba used to teach that even if when you're having an off night scoring, there's NEVER an excuse for not playing defense...ever.

We also still need to keep developing depth. We will run into a game where foul trouble is a big deal, especially in the Big Dance. Need to be able to count on depth to bail us out, especially for Spangler and Lattin.

As a fan, I was a little complacent in the first half and got more and more frustrated that we didn't/couldn't put them away in the second half and allowed them to fight their way back into the game. A win's a win, but as coeSooner81 pointed out, they neeed to work on that backcourt pressure or WVU's gonna light us up!!!
