Obviously....we were screwed this year without Baker. That should really show who our MVP is...even though guys like Perine...Shep...and Mixon have been big too. Where was Andrews tonight ??

Andrews had one catch out in the right flat early in the game. Went for about 15 yards thanks to a nice block from Shep

How did we beat Alabama with Knight. I am totally baffled, let's hope Mayfield gets to feeling better and soon. Defensive won the game, along with Mayfields first half.

I hate to say this, but Baker had zombie eyes on the sideline. I hope I'm wrong, but it looked bad................

Like I said, if Baker doesn't start and play against the idiot pokes...we're doomed.

That's the deal. No more wins this year.

Suck it up... take a gut check...that's the deal.

I agree. I hope its not a concussion but if it is we are in a bad bad spot with a chance at a big12 title on the line and a possible playoff spot. Sets ups perfectly for the pokes if thats the case. Damn.

We will be doomed, not unless Knight changes into his magical uniform that he wore against Alabama.

So if we have to play a second string QB we are doomed. We just watched BU and TCU play with second and third string and play well. A good team came overcome the obstacles. I guess without Baker, we are not good. Interesting.

Well, look at the game, how can we win with Knight. Thank God for the first half from Baker.

The only way we can win with Knight, is for the defense to pitch a shut-out, and hope that Knight doesn't throw a pick 6.

While I don't disagree that Knight had some issues, the easy droped pass in the end zone would have made it a different outcome.

He was off target and threw balls he should have never thrown. Hopefully they have a game plan that he can handle if Baker doesn't play. OSU looked as bad those Lil Wayne grills they were wearing today. Chrome is really a joke for a face mask.

I'm drawing a blank on this. The only drop in the endzone that I can remember was by Mixon and the pass was thrown by Mayfield. Help me out on the drop you are talking about.

But that is one of the things that is bothering me...When Baker went down, not ONLY the Offense went with him, but the Defense became diluted, as well. The Team lost its Leader...its Heart...They feed off of Baker...He is the Sparkplug. Nothing was the same...Nothing was as GOOD...

Disagree....We have a defense.
I don't know what goes on in game prep. I have an idea but I'm really just guessing.

Is it possible that Our defense was simply gassed by all the 3 and outs from the offense. I didn't see the game except for the last 11 minutes when we were in conservative mode on offense. That might be that TK was not sharp according to his individual stats.

I'm thinking that if TK gets the week's snaps in practice with the 1st team, he will perform much better against OSU. No doubt OSU will attempt to take away our run to force TK to pass.

Hope it doesn't come to that and Baker will play but I'm not optimistic right now that he will.

What's scary about tonight was that if Parker doesn't make the pass block on that 2 point conversion attempt, the pass would've been completed to a wide open frog receiver.

Tonight, we were plain lucky to win.

I'd be really surprised if Baker does not start against OSU. He threw a TD pass after he got rung. He did look punchy, but obviously he has an impulse to make plays.

Knight looked miserable.

If Baker can't go, why not Cody Thomas? This year he has receiver targets and some backs to chose from.

I think the defense went downhill because the offense was not moving the ball at all. The defense played a lot of snaps in the 2nd half. It's also very frustrating for the defensive guy's when they keep making stops and the offense does nothing with it.

He needs to be included and practice in the Lincoln play scheme, poor kid was totally loss. Knight is better on the read option.

Last night someone said Knight has regressed. It's pretty uncommon for that to happen, but it really looks like that's the case for him. He doesn't look anything like the player that got OU off to a great start last year.

Which is unfortunate, because by all accounts, he's a fantastic kid.

IF Baker can't go vs. OSU, and Trevor gets all the first team reps this week, maybe Knight can put it together a little better than what we saw yesterday.

I think he can, Riley will need to dial up a scheme for him.OSU is terrible on the run.

Early in the season Bob said that all three QBs could win for OU. Okay, l'm for seeing what Cody can do and see if OSU can handle a **** load of Perine with a few timely short passes to Shep and Mixon thrown in. Lean heavy on Mike's defense. Any way to win because the Sooners are getting a lot of love from the media today.

Trevor is a running spread QB and you would have to go run zone read playbook with him and play actions.

All three QBs were running the same Riley offense the practice. Surely OU doesn't have an offensive scheme for each QB.

Tonight, we were plain lucky to win.

We were lucky at the end, yes, but we were damn unlucky when the thug linebacker from TCU intentionally targeted Baker's head and succeeded in concussing him. That Mofo should be kicked out of football.

I've got this figured out.

Put Rachel Wyatt in the backfield for the zone read. On every play, TK pretends to give it Rachel but keeps it instead everytime as the ENTIRE defense for OSU goes for the tackle on Miss Wyatt giving TK a clear path to an undefended end zone. A win-win for everybody.

Have you seen Rachel? I would think she would even be fitty avatar material.:D

Just sayin'.
