You don't get my point. Most here would give their left nut to have another 2 years of screwing around being a college student. I think he waisted his last opportunity to be what most would consider "a kid".
Oh, and I don't want to debate you. If you'd like to deliberate come on back.
I'm getting the impression that you aren't familiar with Power 5 athletics. "2 years of screwing around being a college student" wouldn't be a realistic portrayal of what it's like to start at LB in the Big Ten. The insane time requirements, physical toll on the body, intense pressure to perform (without any significant monentary compensation until this year), and constant worry that one bad hit or slip on the turf might derail a multi-million dollar signing bonus - all of that is a far cry from the experience of Johnny Trust Fund who can blow off classes and smoke bowls with his buds and the little sisters who swing by on Thursday night. He's also a parent, right? Not sure about you, but I didn't consider myself a kid that should be screwing around when my first son was born.
I'd guess that just about every player in college football would give their left nut to enjoy a "gap year" training for the combine, hanging out with famous NFL alums, and then collecting a top half of the first round signing bonus from your favorite NFL team growing up. String that together with an NFL DROY award, breaking the team's rookie sack record, potentially breaking the NFL rookie sack record (as a part time pass rusher), and generally having a year that compares favorably to Lawrence Taylor's rookie season.
I'm sure the rue is killing him.
