It gives one pause to think. Notably, we are no better on offense than we were 21 games ago. You would have to think Beamer sees this. Right? In spite of his “rah rah” public persona, he must lose sleep at night thinking about this offense.

You would have to be a pretty poor coach not to self evaluate and find this offense lacking.

I have to believe he's just not willing to fire his friend in the middle of a season.

I certainly would not expect a mid season move.

When I was a teenager, I worked in a restaurant as a cook. We had a position come open for dishwasher and I wanted to get my best friend a job there. My mom cautioned me at the time “it’s not a good idea to work with your friends.” I didn’t understand what she meant because we were super tight and I didn’t see how working together could possibly mess things up. But, she was absolutely right. Things kind of went sour on the job, he quit, and it made me look bad. And we basically lost touch after that.

Hiring your friends is inherently risky.

Come on, Beamer's signature wins are UNC, UK and Texas A&M in 1.5 years.

Beamer had the misfortune to follow Muschamp. He had to throw out all those old pork rinds and empty Dorito's bags and Kotex wrappers. There were whole chocolate cakes and mini bottles stashed all in the practice facility.

I remember the theme under Muschamp was “same as Florida, he cant find a QB or offense”. Well, was the 2017 offense better than this one? Yes it was.

Thats fair, he did follow Muschamp. And Muschamp followed what, a 3-9 team that lost to The Citadel and the HC quit midseason. Its not like Muschamp inherited Connor Shaw haha. Our 2015 situation was a dumpster fire. Muschamp turned that into a 9 win season in year 2.

That said, Muschamp had to go, it collapsed after year 2.
