Patterson was a bad hire to begin with considering some of the biggest boosters weren't all that impressed with him. And, Charlie Strong was hired against the wishes of one of their most influential boosters from San Antonio, who publicly criticized the hiring....later to apologize. Ahem.

Yeah, you've got to be talking about Red McCombs.
Whew, I'll bet he's having a bad day.

My airplane banner worked.
LOL LOL LOL.

It is funny. I was thinking about that aver the weekend and almost posted it, though I think it is more than a little unfair. Is this because of a short leash created by hiring men of color to lead both the basketball and football program?

Sure seems like it. Patterson seems like an arrogant SOB. But how is that out of place at UT?

I think it has more to do with his raising the prices of tickets for teams that aren't worth the money of those tickets...that and his charging the football staff for the food they ate? I did hear that privately various coaches were asked about their level of confidence in him and it wasn't very good.

I guess Charlie will be required to fill in Red weekly on the team. Mack said he learned something every time.
Who is really running that clown show in Austin? I'm serious
