With so many unknowns about the OU offense I just hope they win. I do believe AU may be having internal issues between the HC and players which should play in our Sooners favor.

I think this is a must win for OU so….

OU 23 - 13

First start for Hawkins in a loud and hostile environment. We have not been great on the road as it is.
I have hope that the guys are desperate to get better and a sense of urgency is there for the new guys to step up.
I expect we won't see Nic for several games just due to his body language walking off the field and into the locker room. Who steps up at wide receiver? Is there any cohesion in the line this week? Can RB's shed a tackle?

So, going against my instincts OU 27 - 13. Defense can travel. Offense, can it get much worse?

We must beat Auburn to insure a 5 win season (assuming we beat Maine at home in November) and give us a chance to get another one somewhere, someway to get a much needed bowl game if for nothing more than having additional practice time.

OU 20- Auburn 13.

Notice the shot at the OU defense in this one? OU D has looked great but against sub par offenses. Yet he failed to mention that AU D hasnt played a great offense either but he is calling AU D great.

Its articles like this I find funny
All my Alabama relatives are Bama fans. I remember as a kid learning very early that Auburn was not the team my dad’s side of the family rooted for. In fact, any kin that was an Auburn fan wasn’t invited to family reunions. Evidently, nothing has changed.

They are saying the Auburn team that has been struggling won't be the team that OU faces Saturday. Hope its the same for OU.

I believe Hawkins will have a decent game. I also believe SL continues the boneheaded play calling. They cancel each other out. Sooners by 3

Auburn wins.
With the offensive line OU, it’s hard to have them favored in any game.
The toughest schedule in OU history and OU can’t field a championship caliber offensive line.

Wow! Ten players unavailable. Some in key positions needed to have a reasonable opportunity to compete for a win. What’s next?

I went from having a 65% confidence of OU winning down to 30%. At this point what else can possibly go wrong.

I don’t understand this because from February to August everyone said we would be awesome. How could this be?

Well for one. I don't know any team in the country that wouldn't be significantly worse if they lost their #1, #2, #3, #4 and #5 wide receivers, combined with an offensive line also decimated with injuries.

Okay, the offense can get much worse. I was not anticipating Burks and Tatum to be out for this game. Auburn can load the box all day. I hope Hawkins does not get smashed.

Burke out for a soft tissue injury? Lol. Are you kidding me? I think some of these guys feel they have to be 100% or they don’t play. Can you imagine Boz sitting out for a soft tissue injury? Lol

FYI. A knee ligament is considered a soft tissue. I think Brent is very cautious when disclosing such information. If he’s not playing it’s not likely to be a trivial issue.

JA may get to play, Hawkins will be running for his life and he is not very big. I think it was John Hoover that said it the other day, this O Line is gonna get someone killed out there.

Bama I disagree. We see guys everywhere in the pros sit out for the smallest thing so I’m sure it trickles down to college.

I don’t watch or follow the NFL so I’m sure you have a better handle on the issue than me. I’ve been wrong before. No problem. Boomer!

This isn't one of those situations. Burks is a competitor. There's zero chance he'd sit out if he wasn't injured to the point of not being effective.

I just know we see it every level. Guys were tougher 20-30 years ago

Injuries are so vague its hard to say, they never really say how serious an injury is so its really hard to say they are sitting out because its not as serious as they let on or its pretty bad and they don't want the opposing team to know 100% that that particular starter is out so they can game plan accordingly. Its really a cat and mouse game they all try to use to their advantage, think bluffing during a poker game.

That's a subjective statement, with no real way to prove it.

Players in general are bigger, faster and stronger than they were 30 years ago. Today, there are 300 lb. guys running sub 5 seconds in the 40. Force equals mass times acceleration. Thus, the collisions cause more stress and damage to the human body just due to the laws of physics.

I think we find a way over a bad Auburn team with another strong defensive performance but moving forward i don't see many wins left unless we get healthy.

We're going to find out just how well these guys can coach this season. If we find a way to 7 wins I'll consider it a successful season.
