The Pirates(I think) scored with 11 seconds left to take a two-point lead on Argyle. But Argyle blocked the extra point and was running the other way with a successful crossing of the goal line potentially tying the game.

Cobb was the holder and chased own the guy returning the kick, weaving through several Argyle players to grab the returning barely by the jersey and pulling him down around midfield. It was a remarkable play, since he started ceding about a seven yard head start from the kneeling holder position.

So it was a great day for Sooner recruiting, with the additional of Daniel.

I did not see most of it. But I do not think any other player on the field could have caught the guy returning the block. The ball had bounced to him with a perfect hop that he caught in stride. But I have seen the replay a half dozen times and it was just as good a play as you could ever see.

Still not sure how he got there, but with the state title on the line he did.
