Yes, but Cindy was a nice looking chick from my youth, so…nostalgia runs deep with this one.
Tough one, had to go Sophia, problem as we all know, the older generation pics just aren't as good, have to use a little imagination at times. 
Opinions are varied. Cindy was an all time beauty. That Pepsi commercial? Holy smokes.
Cindy was THE super model of the 80s and early 90s. That was an era of supermodels and Crawford was the best looking and most famous. I’d say that puts her up there all time too.
Cindy is a cute girl, but Sophia is a beautiful woman. If Cindy wins this, it’s a travesty. It’s like Texas being voted #1 over Penn State because of Nixon.
Nothing of the sorts IMO. These are two of the most beautiful women of their respective generations. Two very worthy opponents.

For those with the nostalgia vote for Cindy, we are likely about the same age. However, I always preferred Paulina and Elle over Cindy. I get the emotional attachment voting, but Sophia is a killer.

Oh, I agree with your assessment of Elle, but even she wasn’t as iconic as Cindy. This vote is not a slight of Sophia…if she loses to CC, then the victory should be justified.
Sophia Loren is more attractive and a natural beauty which is why she’s an actress and not a runway model. Many people don’t know that she stands just under 5’ 10”. Also, factor in the absence of modern gymnasiums, supplements, plastic surgery and inferior cameras and projectors. Cindy Crawford is a beautiful woman and one of the most popular models during the 1980’s but if she was born during the same era as Sophia Lauren she wouldn’t have made it as a model and definitely not as an actress.
