This team has achieved much more than I'd expected prior to the season. What a great year.
I hear ya V!!! I would have never realistically expected making the playoffs this year. So many changes going into the year I figured a solid, realistic goal would be make a push for a conference title and use it as a building year to make a serious natty run in 2016. Never imagined OU would make such an unbelievable amount of improvement in such a short period of time and be playing at such a high level at the end of the season.

Right now, this literally is feeling like 2000 again. At least it does to me!!!

It was pointed out that the loss to Texas could've been the best thing that happened....and...we had a LOT of potential. The NC is ours for the taking. Bama will be the easy game. Clemson...tougher

Why I try to manage expectations every year until we get past mid season.

All we have to do is South Carolina + 5 on the Clemson game.....I would hate to go against a healthy TCU or Baylor myself...........I know, it's not going to happen................LOL

It happened exactly like it was supposed to happen. ;).

As I've said, this team just keeps improving every week AND we have John Frickin Wayne at QB. Depth on defense has been HUGE this year.

Clemson isn't guaranteed in just yet. They have to play NCarolina.

Iowa and Ohio State had better games than Bama did today. I didn't see Clemson, but I have seen S.C. in the past. Iowa is for real folks.............

Edit: Iowa yesterday...............

I hope we get the chance.........Iowa is like Princeton in Basketball.....Slow the game down. It's worked for them so far.....

I think we can beat any team in the top 4. Alabama looks vulnerable, Iowa absolutely looks vulnerable, Clemson is the only one I am worried about. They haven't exactly been giant killers, but they are very workman like and they have that killer instinct.

I think Iowa has the workman like killer type attitude on occasion too, but they look especially susceptible to the kind of game we play. I really like our chances.

Here is the good news. This Sooners squad has an unhinged mentality. Baker Mayfield brought the "I'm not scared of anybody" swagger to Norman and it was contagious. Now we have an entire team of Baker Mayfields. I don't think any of these schools that make it to the CFP want to play the Sooners in the semi finals.

Swagger...That Special Ingredient of Sooner Magic! It's what's been missing!
