I don't like having whole teams or horses in it but I honestly have to go with the horse. He was the most dominating athlete.

Pharoah was the first one that came to mind, although I think Bob Baffert is equally deserving, this was the 3rd time at least he brought horses to the Belmont with a chance at the TC, and got it done, then won the BC Classic, a "Grand Slam" which I will wager will never be done again.

True, LOL. But it was 37 years between TCs, and then to top it off with a BC Classic win, where all the 4 and 5 year olds are eligible? Odds would have to be astronomical. Forget a TC, the Derby Winner had not won the BC Classic since 1989.
