It would be good conversation and also deserving as well. Per Trammel...

"Coach of the year: Bob Stoops. Picked third in the preseason, OU roared to the title. Sort of strange to pick a coach whose team lost to Texas, but after the Cotton Bowl debacle, the Sooners were mighty impressive. Stoops’ off-season moves — canning long-time lieutenants Josh Heupel and Jay Norvell — paid off big-time."

Why not, sounds good to me, it may go to The Missouri coach because he is sick.

It wouldn't surprise me really.
These awards trend to the most talked about 'water cooler' teams going...now, I ask you...who is that right now?

Now, if I'm coming off as one of OUs most staunch advocates right now, forgive me, I've had years of heavily rewarded practice.
It's become innate.
