Do you think our friends in the Upstate would put up with Tanner at Clemson. I think we all know that answer. He did not even clue in the Head Football coach? He Beamer puts himself in a bad position by not knowing. Tanner is a total failure as AD. Now he’s gone Woke to boot!

Dawn does as she pleases because she is the only one in a major sport that is excelling. If she leaves, that program will likely fall too after RT hires the next coach. Being a winning coach should not give her the right to call the shots on the issues facing the university. The bonehead decision regarding BYU was unnecessary and not researched as it should have been; how many other colleges jumped the gun and cancelled games, none that I know of. An apology should have been issued once it became clear that the incident never happened. It wasn't the first time it had happened at Duke, you would think the administration and Tanner would have been smarter. That said, RT has run every other major program in the ground and I agree, he needs to go. He made Beamer look bad Saturday, well worse than he already did with the score as it was, by not informing him of the Title IX activities that were planned. Should have never been planned during a time out at a football game to begin with.

If you ask me UofSC should have parted ways with happy-go-lucky Ray Tanner about 2 seasons ago. But they clearly have no intentions of firing or reassigned him to another role with the University. So we are screwed until he decides to retire.
Then after Tanner all we can do is pray that the BOT, who needs to be overhauled themselves, can score a legit A/D.

If he resigned/was fired tomorrow, I am interested in the list of names people on this board would like. I have no clue who I would like.
Maybe Duke could start with apology then USC could follow.
Why would Duke apologize for something that never happened, or at at least there is ZERO evidence that it did? And even if a kid did yell a racist remark, the school has to apologize? That is ridiculous, schools aren't responsible for everything every student yells out. And USC wasn't even involved in the apparently made up incident and they go and cancel games. It seems like BYU could make USC pay a monetary amount for breaking the contract without cause, .
