TFrank and Ryan had a good discussion on this their last show this week re filling 1 Tech DT role (i.e. PJ replacement). Obviously, trying to recruit HS player and/or transfer. Neither look promising, and the HS options are not coming in with body type to play year 1 in that role, and transfer portal does not have many prospects. They indicated might be possible to use OL players moving till this can be recruited. Donkoh's name was mentioned as a possible player, but might be others. Looking at OL who are not part of the key rotation may be options there. If you haven't seen that podcast, would recommend it.
Urban talking to D'Nardo on BTN talked about needing to get creative with roster management and position moves can help reduce a loss of a player to portal and avoid having to find another one in the portal. Many players can fit in multiple spots, and it may be better to use them in a new position and keep them on a roster rather than chase a pure player in the portal. If you strike out in the portal that could be a better solution.
